Inside Sales Associate
The Inside Sales Associate will play a key role in the continued growth of our company. We are a technology-enabled service company serving Fortune 2000 retailers and manufacturers that brings efficiency to our clients’ efforts around liquidation of excess inventory. Our team started and ran eBay’s Private Marketplace business, where we helped clients liquidate nearly $1 billion worth of inventory. We routinely help clients recover 20% – 100% more for their excess inventory via bulk liquidation auctions.

The Inside Sales Associate position will have the opportunity to work closely with the entire organization to drive the company’s long-term success and to drive immediate sales.
Responsibilities:
• Make 50-60 outbound calls per day to generate leads
• Use strong verbal phone communication skills to engage targeted contacts with strategic and tailored value propositions
• Use a consultative sales approach to develop value propositions for engaging senior executive and management prospects (CFO, COO, CIO, EVP, SVP, Director).
• Arrange demo and sales appointments for qualified prospects
• Enter all pertinent lead information into the CRM system.
• Work closely with other sales staff to develop account strategies and schedule meetings.
• Develop reports and communicate pipeline activity including current prospects, competitive information, and prospect feedback.
• Organize and prioritize calls to meet sales objectives and call goals.
• Develop account strategy and relationship building with key personnel within targeted accounts.
• Develop and deliver relevant presentations at team meetings and departmental meetings.
Requirements:
• Sales prospecting and qualification experience – Software/Information Technology (IT)
• Enthusiasm for getting on the phone and engaging new prospects to uncover opportunity
• Desire and ability to generate opportunities through any and all available means including effective networking and phone calls
• Ability to deliver a persuasive business value proposition in a confident and compelling manner.
• Ability to sell consultatively by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for a solution
• A general knowledge of the logistics, supply chain or liquidation industry is a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting goals
• Ability and aptitude for continuous learning and knowledge building
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand the company’s industry and core business processes
• Effective sales and time management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Four-year college/university degree
• Working experience with software, including: MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM systems.
Desired Experience:
• 2+ years experience and proven success in business-to-business sales to enterprise accounts (where sales are worth more than $50k in annual revenue)
• Experience and enthusiasm for making 50-60 calls per day to uncover opportunities and fill sales pipeline
• Logistics/supply chain or liquidation experience a plus
• Inventory management experience within a retail or manufacturing environment a plus
• BS/BA from a reputable college or university; MBA helpful
